RPCF is part of a three-component project, The Remittances and Payments Partnership, under the Bangladesh Bank. The other components aim to (i) improve the payments infrastructure in Bangladesh (cheque processing and other payments systems, legal and regulatory regime, and introducing a National Payments Council which will oversee payments developments in Bangladesh on a continuing basis), and (ii) improve the utilisation and tracking of remittances. |
